Palais des gouverneurs

The former Governors' Palace, formerly known as "Castel Nuovo", was the residence of Corsica's governors. Built in the 13th century, it features a splendid keep that can still be admired today. Passed under military control since the Revolution, it now houses the Sampiero barracks of the Foreign Legion.
