Pont de la Norges
The bridge, which allows access to the city coming from Dijon, is in its current configuration, the sixth of a series that dates back to 1685, when the reclamation of the marshy area;this road was built in 1685, when the reclamation of the marshy area known as "des Tilles", which occupied the plain between the Ouche and the Tille from Fauverney, allowed for a road link with the capital of the duchy. This road was previously called the road n° 12 of the province of Burgundy in 1759 and then national road n°5 before becoming the RD 905. Despite the rectification of the course of the rivers and the development of dams, Genlis remained subject to major floods. The most outstanding étant those of March 1877 and January février 1910.
