Façade de la Cloche

The Grand Hotel la Cloche is a five star hotel. Its facades and roofs are listed as historical monuments. Existing for more than five centuries, the hotel de la Cloche, which the people of Dijon call "la Cloche", is, by its history, its architecture, its reputation, a true Dijon monument. The 1880's building includes a central forecourt with three large arched openings on the first floor, the middle one serving as the main entrance. At the top of this front, in front of the slate roof, a stone pediment, engraved with the date 1883, includes a clock face surmounted by a bell tower with three bells. Behind the building extends an interior garden. In 2015, the facades were cleaned and LED lighting was installed, to illuminate the exterior of the hotel at night in different colors.
