Place Charles Adrien
Le lavoir
The old washhouse has lost its bugadières (washing machines in Provençal) that beat their laundry in the waters of the Béal. This irrigation canal, dug by the monks of Saint-Victor, took water from the Huveaune upstream and for a long time fed all sorts of industries based on hydraulic power. It can be seen today at the entrance to the Villa, a former God's house.
