La maison George Sand

La maison George Sand

From 1858, George Sand acquired a small country house which served as a refuge. It was then rebuilt in 1958 with the advice of the writer's granddaughter. Today, it houses the family collections, documents and personal objects of George and Maurice Sand. It is open to visitors between April and September. It complements admirably the visits of the museum of La Châtre and of the house of Nohant.
