?Lo sabías?
The Major Temple is the Spanish name for the great stepped pyramid of Tenochtitlan, the capital of the Aztecs, and the ceremonial center in which it was located, which is sometimes called Sacred Precinct. After the capture of the city by Hernán Cortés (August 13, 1521) and the disappearance of the Aztec Empire, the Templo Mayor was destroyed, as was almost the entire city, replaced from 1524 onwards bythe Spanish city of México.
