YOUR SECURITY
SECURITY
Scanning a QRPlaque must remain risk-free, for residents and visitors alike. Here is what we do, and what you can check for yourself.
Check the address that opens
A QRPlaque always opens a page on www.qravenue.com. If another address appears after scanning, do not enter anything: a sticker may have been placed on the plaque. Report it to us, with the location.
Nothing to install
Scanning opens a simple, encrypted web page (HTTPS). No app is installed on your phone, and you will never be asked to install one.
The camera stays with you
The built-in scanner reads the QR code on your phone: no image is sent or stored.
Little data, kept in Europe
The site is hosted in France. We collect only what is necessary. Only the text of your conversations with the assistant leaves the European Union: do not enter any personal data.
Protected accounts
Sign-in attempts are limited, and counted as an encrypted fingerprint: your IP address itself is not stored.
REPORT
A DAMAGED PLAQUE OR A SECURITY FLAW
A plaque damaged, covered or opening an unexpected page? A security flaw on the site? Write to us: we handle every report.
For your personal data, see the privacy policy.
