Their story.
In 1943 he was integrated into the 2nd Group of Moroccan Tabors which deployed in Corsica and then in Italy. A group includes three Battalions or Tabors and each one has three or four companies also called Goum. In 1944 he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and deployed to Sainte Maxime in the Var. There he liberated Carpiagne on August 24 after a lot of fighting, then participated in the liberation of the city of Marseille in the battle of Notre Dame de la Garde..
