Their story.

Molière was a French playwright and comedian of the 17th century. Born in Paris as Jean-Baptiste Poquelin, he studied law before embarking on a career in theatre. Molière is best known for his comedies, which were very popular during his lifetime and have continued to be performed ever since. His most famous works include "Tartuffe", "The Misanthrope"and "The Miser". His comedies were often satirical and ridiculed the foibles of the society of his time, including the nobility and religious hypocrisy.

Molière was also a talented actor and often acted in his own plays. He founded his own theatre company, known as the "Troupe de Moliere", which was very successful. Despite his popularity, Molière met with opposition from some sectors of society, particularly from the church. His work has been censored on several occasions and he has been forced to change the names of some of his pieces to avoid controversy.

Molière died in 1673 after suffering from a lung disease. He is considered one of the greatest playwrights of all time and his work continues to be performed and studied around the world.
